I need to restore the dugout before it gets dark. I couldn't imagine what happens here at night if it's as dark as pitch even during the day.

Having finished the repairs, I came out of the dugout to get some fresh air but faced the wall of darkness. The fire of the match could hardly cut the dense darkness, but the flames wallowed up the crowns, and warmth and light filled the glade.
